About The Position

As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine goal-oriented selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, make personalized recommendations, connect them with appropriate products and services, and use product knowledge and a personal approach to build trust, achieve sales targets, and inspire loyalty. The role includes helping maintain a clean, organized, inviting, and shoppable sales floor, and is not limited to cashiering. Colleagues prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions, and ensuring the sales floor is ready for customers. They welcome customers and build relationships through friendly, personal conversations. During the day, they merchandise new receipts, process damages, testers, and selected merchandise for return to vendors, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, make sure customers have what they need, and end interactions with a sincere thank-you. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability. The position requires flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, along with dependable attendance and punctuality.
