As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with appropriate products and services. You engage customers on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, use product knowledge and smart selling behaviors to meet sales goals, and build trust and customer loyalty. You also help keep the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting. Colleagues start the day by preparing the sales floor, reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions, and greeting teammates. Throughout the day, they make friendly, personal connections with customers; maintain a shoppable space by merchandising new receipts, processing damages and vendor returns, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves; and share loyalty program benefits while ensuring customers have what they need. The role emphasizes teamwork, dependable customer service, continuous improvement, and achieving individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
