As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn what customers need, make personalized recommendations, connect them with products and services, and use product knowledge and a personal approach to build trust, meet sales targets, and inspire loyalty. The role centers on customer engagement and teamwork, rather than being limited to cashier duties, and includes keeping the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting. You prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals and popular items, and keeping up with trends and promotions. On the sales floor, you welcome customers and build friendly relationships. You also help maintain a shoppable environment by merchandising new receipts, processing damages, testers, and selected merchandise returns to vendors, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves. You share loyalty-program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and close interactions with a sincere thank-you. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week; hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
