As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine goal-focused selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, provide personalized recommendations, and connect them with suitable products and services. You engage customers on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, use product knowledge and smart selling behaviors to meet sales goals, and build customer trust and loyalty. The role is more than cashiering: customer service is central to every interaction. You also help maintain a clean, organized, inviting, and shoppable sales floor. At the start of the day, colleagues prepare the sales floor, review sales goals, learn about new arrivals, popular products, trends, and promotions, and get ready to engage customers. During the day, they welcome customers, build relationships through friendly conversations, merchandise new receipts, process damages and items for return to vendors, update signs and pricing, and assist with merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and close interactions with a sincere thank-you. Colleagues support one another, work collaboratively, seek to improve, and contribute to individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
