Seasonal Retail Sales Associate, Chandler Fashion Center
About The Position
As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague at Macy’s, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, provide personalized recommendations, connect them with suitable products and services, and use product knowledge and customer engagement to achieve selling goals and build loyalty. The role includes helping maintain a clean, organized, inviting, and shoppable sales floor, including merchandising merchandise, processing damages and vendor returns, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and create friendly, personal conversations that build customer relationships.
- Understand customers’ needs and provide personalized product and service recommendations.
- Meet sales goals through customer engagement and effective selling behaviors.
- Share information about products, new arrivals, trends, promotions, and the Loyalty program.
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, inviting, and prepared for customers.
- Merchandise new receipts; process damages, testers, and selected merchandise for vendor returns; update signs and pricing; and support merchandise moves.
- Help customers complete their visits with everything they need and offer a sincere thank-you.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support a positive team environment.
- Use handheld equipment, computers, and cash registers to perform job functions and process transactions.
