About The Position

As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-oriented selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with suitable products and services. Through product knowledge, customer engagement, and effective selling behaviors, you work toward sales goals, build trust, and encourage customer loyalty. The role includes helping maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping space, and involves much more than cashiering. Colleagues prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals and top-selling products, and staying informed about trends and promotions. They welcome customers, build relationships through friendly conversations, and help maintain a shoppable sales floor by merchandising merchandise, processing damages and vendor returns, updating signs and pricing, and assisting with merchandise moves. They promote the Loyalty program, ensure customers have what they need, and provide a sincere, personal close to each interaction. Colleagues also support one another and continually work to improve individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
