As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create standout holiday shopping experiences. You learn about each customer’s needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect customers with suitable products and services. Through product knowledge, customer engagement, and smart selling behaviors, you work toward sales goals, build trust, and inspire loyalty. The role also includes keeping the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting. Colleagues prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals and top-selling items, and staying informed about trends and promotions. On the sales floor, they welcome customers and build relationships through friendly, personal conversations. They maintain a shoppable environment by merchandising new receipts, processing damages, testers and selected merchandise for return to vendors, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves. They share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and close interactions with a sincere thank-you. Teamwork, ongoing learning, and working toward individual and store results are also important parts of the role. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
