As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create standout holiday shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, make personalized recommendations, and connect them with appropriate products and services. You engage customers on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, use product knowledge and effective selling behaviors to achieve sales goals, build trust, and encourage loyalty. You also help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping space. Colleagues prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals and top-selling items, and staying informed about trends and promotions. During customer interactions, they offer a warm welcome and build friendly, personal relationships. They maintain a shoppable space by merchandising new receipts, processing damages and testers and selected merchandise for vendor return, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and close interactions with a sincere thank-you. Teamwork, honesty, care, collaboration, continuous improvement, and achieving individual and store results are emphasized. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
