As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-oriented selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn about each customer’s needs, provide personalized recommendations, and connect customers with appropriate products and services. You engage customers on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, use product knowledge and personal service to build trust and loyalty, and work toward sales goals. You also help keep the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting. Colleagues prepare for each day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals and top-selling items, and staying informed about trends and promotions. They welcome customers, create friendly conversations, and build customer relationships. They maintain a shoppable sales floor by merchandising new receipts, processing damages, testers, and selected merchandise for return to vendors, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves. They share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and provide a sincere farewell. The role also involves supporting teammates and continually learning to improve individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
