As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create positive holiday shopping experiences. You learn what customers need, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with suitable products and services. You engage customers on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, use product knowledge and selling behaviors to meet sales goals, and help build customer trust and loyalty. The role is more than cashiering: customer service and sales are central to the work. You also help keep the shopping area clean, organized, and inviting. At the start of the day, colleagues prepare the sales floor, review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and popular items, and keep current on trends and promotions. During the day, they welcome customers and create friendly, personal conversations. They maintain a shoppable space by merchandising new receipts, processing damages, testers, and selected merchandise returns to vendors, updating signs and pricing, and assisting with merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and close interactions with a sincere thank-you. Colleagues support one another and work to improve, achieve sales goals, and contribute to individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
