About The Position

Join the LEGO® Brand Retail team as a Seasonal Sales Associate (Brick Specialist) at Dadeland Mall in Miami, FL. This is a seasonal, part-time position expected to last until January, subject to business needs. The role focuses on providing inspirational guest experiences in an interactive and vibrant store environment. We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals. The position involves exceeding guest expectations through fun and meaningful interactions, ensuring a signature experience by greeting guests, performing cash register functions, and maintaining a professional and engaging demeanor. It also includes maintaining a clean, safe, and visually stimulating environment by performing cleaning duties and upholding store display and visual standards. Additionally, the role requires safely operating the stockroom, assisting with merchandise receiving, maintaining stockroom standards, adhering to safety regulations, and reporting potential shortage situations. The role requires effective communication with team members and guests, processing transactions through the register system, and working various hours, including nights and weekends as business dictates. Access to all store areas, including the sales floor, stock areas, register areas, and loading dock, is necessary.

Requirements

• Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two consecutive hours.
• May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
• Vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Involves lifting at least 30 lbs.
• Must provide availability to work up to 25 hours per week including at least one weekend day with a minimum of 3 days of availability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a signature experience for every guest by greeting them, performing cash register functions, and maintaining a professional, gracious, friendly, and engaging manner.
• Provide a clean, safe, and visually stimulating environment by performing daily cleaning duties and maintaining store displays according to LEGO® Brand Retail visual standards.
• Safely and efficiently operate the store stockroom, assist in receiving merchandise, maintain the stockroom to LEGO® Brand Retail standards, abide by safety regulations, and notify management of potential shortage situations.
• Resolve customer issues and report challenging situations to the manager.
• Engage customers with promotional materials and loyalty programs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
• Process information/merchandise through the register system.
• Work various hours, days, nights, and weekends as business decides.
• Freely access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock areas, register areas, and loading dock area.
