Seasonal Retail Fragrances Sales Associate, Altamonte
About The Position
As a Seasonal Fragrance Sales Support colleague, you help create a warm, inviting experience in the fragrance department. You maintain a beautifully merchandised, fully stocked space while supporting the sales team on the floor and behind the scenes. Tasks include preparing products, restocking displays, and assisting with transactions. The role combines customer service and operational support, anticipating team needs and keeping the department ready for shoppers during the busy season. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
Requirements
- Flexible availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.
- Enjoyment of meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.

- Ability to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Help ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers.
- Review sales goals and learn about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions.
- Welcome customers, make eye contact, and build friendly, personal relationships through conversation.
- Maintain a shoppable space by merchandising new receipts, processing damages and testers, returning selected merchandise to vendors, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves.
- Share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and provide a sincere thank-you at the end of the interaction.
- Support teammates with honesty, care, and collaboration.
- Work toward sales goals, take pride in the work, and learn from colleagues to contribute to individual and store results.
- Assist with transactions using a cash register and other technology.
