Seasonal Retail Associate
About The Position
The Seasonal Retail Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards and may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. Associates support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback. The position also involves processing customer purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, preparing merchandise for the sales floor, maintaining merchandising standards, and participating in store recovery and cleanliness. Associates support shrink reduction and safety programs, follow labor laws and company policies, and may perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Engage and interact with customers to deliver a highly satisfied customer experience.
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the company merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Cross-train in multiple store areas as needed to support business needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
