About The Position

Lola Blankets is hiring Seasonal Retail Associates for its first retail store in SoHo during the holiday season. Associates bring the Lola brand story to life by connecting with customers, sharing product knowledge, and creating a premium in-store experience. This is a part-time hourly role scheduled by the Store Manager, with availability required through January 15th. Shifts vary across opening, mid, and closing times and include some evenings and weekends.

Requirements

At least 1 year of retail or customer-facing sales experience.
A genuine connection to Lola’s brand and story, and enthusiasm for sharing it with customers.
Availability for part-time hourly shifts through January 15th, as scheduled by the Store Manager, including some evenings and weekends; availability on Sundays, weekdays, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve is required.
Reliability and punctuality, with adherence to scheduled shifts.
Ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues.
Strong customer service skills, including the ability to create positive customer experiences, engage socially in sales, and proactively address customer concerns.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes.
Strong organizational and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers and help ensure they have a positive in-store experience.
Present products and provide knowledgeable, honest feedback about fabrics, collections, and home styling.
Build customer relationships and discuss product details and new launches.
Stay informed about new and popular products, replenishments, and store events, and share relevant information with customers.
Support the team in achieving store sales goals.
Develop broader fashion and home product knowledge to serve customers as an expert.
Contribute to store projects while maintaining focus on the customer experience.
Flag inventory needs to Floor Leads, the Assistant Store Manager, or the Store Manager.
Maintain the store through restocking, visual merchandising to Lola’s standards, and cleaning.
Follow store protocols and safety standards during opening and closing.
Adhere to scheduled shifts and role responsibilities.
