About The Position

Texas Health Central Staffing Office is an internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all THR hospitals. This role requires flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on the needs of the business and assigned region. The department prides itself in high performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills. This position is not eligible for Full Time or Part Time benefits.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred (or, CLIAFE – Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required)
  • 5+ years clinical nurse experience, with a minimum of 3 years Med Surg experience in the last five years required
  • Current TX RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing required upon hire
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire required
  • NIHSS – National Institute of Health Stroke certificate within 30 days of hire
