About The Position

Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) MST - Central Staffing Office. Texas Health Resources Central Staffing Office is an internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all THR hospitals. Must have flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on the needs of the business. The Central Staffing Office is broken into particular regions. This position is PRN, must be available to work 36 hours/week and is not eligible for Full Time or Part Time benefits. The work environment is Med Surg Departments. The department prides itself in high performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred (or, CLIAFE – Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required)
• 5+ years clinical nurse experience, with a minimum of 3 years Med Surg experience in the last five years required
• Current TX RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing required upon hire
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire required
• NIHSS – National Institute of Health Stroke certificate within 30 days of hire
