About The Position

Texas Health Resources Central Staffing Office is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) for Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) departments. This role is part of an internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health hospitals. The position requires flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on the needs of the business and assigned region. The Central Staffing Office is broken into particular regions, and this role will primarily work in Region B (Denton, HEB, Alliance, Flower Mound, and Southlake). The department prides itself on high-performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing required
  • 5+ years clinical nurse experience
  • minimum of 3 years Med Surg experience in the last five years required
  • Current TX RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing required upon hire
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire required
  • NIHSS – National Institute of Health Stroke certificate within 30 days of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required
