About The Position
Texas Health Resources Central Staffing Office is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) for Medical Surgical (Med Surg) Telemetry units. This role is part of the Central Staffing Office, an internal department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health hospitals. The position requires flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on the needs of the business and assigned region. The department prides itself on high-performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing required
- 5+ years clinical nurse experience
- A minimum of 3 years Med Surg experience in the last five years required
- Current TX RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing required upon hire
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire required
- NIHSS – National Institute of Health Stroke certificate within 30 days of hire
