About The Position

This is a seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) through the Central Staffing Office at Texas Health. The role requires PRN availability, meaning you must be available to work 24 hours per week, primarily in Region B (Denton, HEB, Alliance, Azle, Flower Mound, and Southlake). The Central Staffing Office is an internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals. Flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on business needs is required. The department emphasizes high-performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills.

Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma Required or Associate’s degree in Nursing Required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Preferred
  • CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required
  • 5 years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty Required
  • Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire Required
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire Required
  • NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program upon hire Required
  • NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program upon hire Required
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
