About The Position

This position involves preparing drink orders for guests according to specified recipes, issuing and serving wine/champagne, and maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the bar area. The role requires stocking supplies, garnishing drinks, washing glassware, and processing payments. Additionally, the bartender will be responsible for counting the bank, completing cashier reports, and securing all bar-related inventory and areas at the end of the shift. The position also includes adhering to all company policies, safety procedures, and maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor. Key responsibilities include welcoming and assisting guests, communicating effectively with team members, and performing other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors. The role requires the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. It may also involve working in confined spaces or on uneven surfaces.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Ability to prepare drink orders according to specified recipes.
  • Ability to issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles.
  • Ability to set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
  • Ability to prepare fresh garnishes for drinks.
  • Ability to stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
  • Ability to transport supplies to bar set-up area.
  • Ability to wash soiled glassware.
  • Ability to remove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place in designated area.
  • Ability to anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
  • Ability to process all payment methods.
  • Ability to count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.
  • Ability to secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
  • Ability to complete closing duties.
  • Ability to follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Ability to report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
  • Ability to complete safety training and certifications.
  • Ability to ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
