Seasonal Pick/Stock Lead - Shift D
About The Position
The Seasonal Pick/Stock Lead is located at the Williams-Sonoma distribution center in Olive Branch, Mississippi. The role trains and directs a team of associates to achieve departmental production goals and provide customers with a positive delivery experience. The lead controls workflow on the floor, prioritizes team goals to meet deadlines, tracks productivity and quality, provides performance feedback, and researches and resolves issues. Seasonal associates may be asked to work in other departments as pickers or stockers. The position is a second-shift role scheduled Wednesday through Saturday, 5:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of the Direct to Customer (DTC) supply chain process.
- Availability to work overtime and flexible schedules.
- Availability to work in various departments and buildings as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, coach, and train associates.
- Set and communicate clear goals to associates.
- Support daily management of departmental duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Control floor workflow and prioritize team goals to ensure deadlines are met.
- Track, report, and provide feedback on productivity and quality performance.
- Research and resolve issues.
- Create, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures for assigned areas.
- Work in other departments as needed, including as a picker or stocker.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
