About The Position

The Seasonal Stock Lead is the primary owner of the store stockroom, overseeing shipment processing, product placement, inventory transfers, and other stock operations. The role maintains a safe, orderly, and efficient stockroom so products are available to customers when needed, and ensures stock processes and policies are followed. The Stock Lead partners with the Store Manager to train and develop stock associates and foster a positive, respectful team environment. The role also supports sales-floor operations and the store’s business plan by replenishing and displaying merchandise, following visual merchandising standards, and providing customer service and product knowledge. The Stock Lead works collaboratively with the team and promotes the UGG brand in interactions with customers and colleagues.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey the Deckers Brands Vision and Mission to team members and customers.
Excellent team-building skills.
Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Flexibility of schedule and hours to meet business needs.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and applications.
Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of retail store experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe, neat, and orderly stockroom and stock desk, and promote safety and security practices to deter theft.
Ensure team members understand and follow stock processes and policies.
Plan for new product arrivals and make necessary stockroom adjustments.
Receive and verify shipments, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory counts.
Handle customer charge sends and merchandise transfers between retail locations or distribution centers.
Manage damaged merchandise and mis-mate inventory according to company standards.
Securely maintain a store key.
Assist the Store Manager in executing sales and productivity plans to achieve and exceed the store’s fiscal business plan.
Replenish and display products on the sales floor in accordance with visual merchandising standards.
Provide customer service, greet customers, direct them to products and areas, answer questions, and share current product knowledge.
Train and develop stock associates and support team members through encouragement, recognition, and feedback.
Promote a positive, respectful environment and cooperate with the team to meet business needs.
