About The Position

Swan Valley Co-op is hiring a Seasonal Petroleum Driver at their Swan River Location. Shifts are available in Spring and Fall, with possible periodic coverage depending on availability. As a co-operative, Swan Valley Co-op believes in working together to serve Western Canadians, delivering profits back to communities and investing in sustainable growth. The team provides a range of products and services to support member-owners, helping to build, fuel, feed, and grow Western Canadian communities.

Requirements

• You have a class 3 driver’s license with air at minimum.
• You have prior truck driving experience.
• You’re familiar with National Safety Code.
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
• Pre-employment alcohol and substance testing (for safety-sensitive positions).
• Supply a copy of your current Commercial Driver’s Abstract (dated within 30 days of application date).

Nice To Haves

• Class 1 driver’s license would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fuel to customers as per their request and in accordance with our credit policies.
• Minor routine truck maintenance and recording keeping.
• General maintenance of Bulk Petroleum and Cardlock sites.
• Conduct pre & post operation truck inspections.
• Follow all safe work procedures in place for Swan Valley Co-op and the FCL corporate bulk plant and report all hazardous conditions immediately to the Petroleum Manager.
