About The Position

The Seasonal Part-time Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience through engaging with customers, maintaining a clean and organized store, and following operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards. The associate may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role also supports a positive store culture, store recovery, safety awareness, and shrink-reduction goals. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and help maintain and clean the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
