About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal, part-time Package Handler at its Ontario HUB. The position pays $19.00 per hour with weekly pay and may include a $500 seasonal bonus, subject to eligibility, amount, and payment requirements that may vary by location and assignment. The seasonal assignment runs from October 27, 2026, to January 1, 2027. Seasonal employees may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment ends, based on eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed.

This is an active, hands-on warehouse role. Package Handlers work with a team to unload, sort, move, and load packages, keeping them organized and moving safely and efficiently toward their next destination. No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided. Shifts are listed as 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with approximately four-to-five-hour shift lengths. End times may vary based on package volume and business needs. The posting lists Tuesday through Friday and Saturday through Monday as shift options. Overtime pay is provided as required by applicable law, and scheduled overtime may be required when business needs require it. Premium pay applies to hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during a scheduled shift.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for work.
• Work as part of a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
