About The Position
The Seasonal Operations Associate supports the holiday peak season by picking, packing, and shipping customer orders accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse. The role works with the Operations team to maintain accuracy, protect product quality, meet shipping deadlines, and follow safety procedures. Schedules, shifts, and hours may change based on order volume and business needs; overtime, weekend work, and extended hours may be needed during peak periods. The position is seasonal and located at the Witherspoon Warehouse in Valencia, California.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment and lift up to 45 lbs.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable team approach.
- Willingness to adjust to changing schedules and operational needs.
- Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Follow daily assignments, order priorities, and shipping deadlines provided by the Operations Supervisor or Manager.
- Pick products using order details, pick lists, or system instructions, and verify product numbers, quantities, and order information.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials and procedures, label packages accurately, and prepare shipments for carrier pickup.
- Sort, stage, and organize outgoing orders in designated shipping areas.
- Inspect products and packaging for damage or discrepancies and report issues to a supervisor.
- Assist with replenishing picking locations, organizing inventory, and restocking packing supplies as needed.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and complete end-of-shift housekeeping.
