About The Position

The Merchandise Operations Associate supports daily merchandise operations, including processing, placement, maintenance, and fulfillment. The role works under the leadership of and reports to the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor/Manager. Responsibilities include processing incoming merchandise, presenting and maintaining merchandise on the selling floor, locating items for customer orders, and providing customer service. The associate may also assist with store projects, floor recovery, and supply replenishment.

Requirements

Computer skills and ability to use available technology, including RF guns, PCs, iOS devices, Excel, Word, and proprietary platforms.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs and follow through on assigned tasks.
Ability to lift cartons, climb ladders, and handle merchandise racks and carts, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Process inbound merchandise and place and present merchandise on the selling floor.
Follow direction to maintain standards for merchandise placement and presentation.
Assist with store projects as needed, including replenishing merchandise on the selling floor, floor recovery, and supply replenishment.
Locate requested merchandise in the store and complete customer orders.
Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to customers' needs.
Maintain floor merchandising standards in compliance with Visual standards.
Drive a company vehicle as needed at select locations, in accordance with state driver's license standards.
