About The Position
The Seasonal Operations Associate works with the operations team during the holiday season to enhance the client experience. Reporting to an Operations Manager, the associate supports merchandise flow and inventory operations while helping ensure assignments are executed exceptionally and safely. The role requires a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and involves standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in an operations or warehouse role.
- Familiarity with and ability to use retail and mobile technologies.
- Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Unload and sort inbound merchandise and prepare it for the selling floor.
- Prepare outbound merchandise for shipment to a client, another store, or the distribution center.
- Complete daily inventory control operations.
- Execute merchandise price changes as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures on the receiving dock and in other work areas.
