About The Position

Vala's is a family-owned and operated fall festival located in Gretna, Nebraska, open for 45 to 55 days a year. It spans over 400 acres with more than 50 attractions and 25+ food locations, aiming to create magical memories for families and friends. The Seasonal Medical Staff will be part of the medical team, responding to various guest and staff incidents on the farm, providing basic first aid for common issues like stings, trips, and minor cuts, and interacting with guests.

Requirements

• Ability to respond quickly when an incident occurs on the farm.
• Ability to provide basic first aid, following procedure to assess whether further care is needed.
• Active EMT, nursing or other advanced medical license is required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to a variety of guest and staff incidents on the farm.
• Provide basic first aid for occurrences such as stings, trips, and minor cuts or scrapes.
• Complete medical incident reports in a timely manner.
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Interact with guests in a friendly manner at all times.
• Work well in a fast-paced, team environment.
