About The Position

Located in Gretna, Nebraska, Vala’s is a family owned and operated fall festival open to the public 45 to 55 days a year and is a treasured fall tradition for many families in the surrounding communities. Vala’s property spans 400+ acres, including over 50 attractions, such as pick-your-own pumpkins, apples, and flowers, and over 25+ food locations. Our mission at Vala’s is to bring happiness to the world by creating a place where magical memories are shared between families and friends- one person, one pumpkin, one experience at a time.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to use various forms of technology (laptop, tablet, cellphone).
• Basic computer skills, along with ability to learn new computer systems utilized on the farm.
• Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Answering inbound calls and providing customer service to enhance the guest experience.
• Oversee all online admissions bookings and reservations, ensuring availability and accuracy.
• Ensure customer service is the focus for each guest interaction.
• Ensure phones are being answered in a timely manner.
• Prepare guest entry areas pre-season, including equipment and signage.
• Maintain clear verbal and written communication.
