About The Position
Thermea Spa Village Whitby is seeking passionate Kiosk Associates in the York Region area to join their village for the holiday period. The Kiosk Associate will operate a temporary kiosk, with the primary objective of promoting and selling various spa products and services to meet customer needs and sales targets. The company emphasizes a welcoming community atmosphere and excellent care for both guests and employees. This role reports to the Marketing and Kiosk Coordinator.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- One-year experience in customer service
- Experience in sales
- Demonstrates a high level of aptitude in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and is adept at learning new technologies
- Experience with using a POS system
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle stress in a fast paced environment
- Versatile, thorough, and autonomous
- Shows initiative
- Punctuality and reliability
- Professional and collaborative attitude
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
Responsibilities
- Inform customers about Thermea Spa Village’s various services and products
- Identify customers' needs while creating sales opportunities
- Assist with the sales and purchase of Thermea gift certificates
- Maintain heavy customer traffic
- Responsible for the opening and closing of the kiosk
- Perform other related duties
