About The Position
Thermea Spa Village Whitby is seeking passionate Kiosk Associates in the York Region area to join their village for the holiday period. The Kiosk Associate will operate temporary kiosks, with the primary objective of promoting and selling various spa products and services to meet customer needs and sales targets. The company emphasizes a welcoming community and excellent care for both guests and employees, describing their spa village as a peaceful hideaway inspired by global rituals with a Canadian character.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- One-year experience in customer service
- Experience in sales
- Demonstrates a high level of aptitude in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and is adept at learning new technologies
- Experience with using a POS system
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle stress in a fast paced environment
- Versatile, thorough, and autonomous
- Shows initiative
- Punctuality and reliability
- Professional and collaborative attitude
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
Responsibilities
- Inform customers about Thermea Spa Village’s various services and products
- Identify customers' needs while creating sales opportunities
- Assist with the sales and purchase of Thermea gift certificates
- Maintain heavy customer traffic
- Responsible for the opening and closing of the kiosk
- Perform other related duties
