About The Position

The Seasonal Janitor ensures a clean and safe working environment for Duluth Trading employees. This is an onsite role at the company’s Adairsville facility near Atlanta, Georgia. The position includes maintaining cleanliness in office areas, the lobby, restrooms, lunchroom, and break rooms, along with removing trash and recyclables, vacuuming, dusting, and monitoring cleaning-supply inventory. The role may also involve other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma; equivalent work experience will be considered.
Ability to adjust the daily task schedule as needed to support operations.
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day; walk long distances; and climb flights of stairs throughout the day.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
Ability to push or pull a picking cart and/or pallet weighing up to 500 pounds.
Ability to reach, twist, bend in multiple directions, and perform continuous arm, hand, and wrist movements.
Ability to work in tight-quarter workstations and temperatures ranging from 50 to 95 degrees.
Ability to move about to accomplish tasks, adjust or move objects over 20 pounds in all directions, and remain stationary or stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness in office areas and the main lobby.
Remove trash and recyclable paper nightly.
Vacuum floors.
Dust work surfaces.
Maintain cleanliness of facility restrooms.
Maintain cleanliness of the main lunchroom and secondary break rooms.
Recommend purchases of cleaning supplies, maintain inventory, and notify the warehouse supervisor when supplies need replenishment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
