About The Position

The Janitor carries out general sanitation tasks in accordance with established quality and safety procedures and policies. This position has no supervisory authority. The role includes cleaning production work areas, outside premises, and warehouse areas as assigned, as well as mopping, sanitizing machinery, and cleaning walls, floors, production rooms, and storage areas. The Janitor operates and maintains specialized cleaning equipment, completes applicable documentation, and communicates assignment status with the Support Leader. The position may involve exposure to strong cleaning chemicals or solvents, and includes other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Excellent work ethic and attendance record.
Ability to accurately receive and interpret verbal and written instructions.
Problem-solving mentality when confronting challenging situations.
Active participation in solutions and continual efforts to improve processes.
Ability to interact and work well with a wide variety of people and departments.
Ability to show urgency and composure through tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
