Janitor - 2nd Shift
About The Position
The Janitor maintains cleanliness and sanitation in pharmaceutical manufacturing and office facilities, helping ensure a sterile environment that complies with industry hygiene standards. The role involves cleaning production areas, offices, restrooms, and common spaces while following strict protocols and safely handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. The position is scheduled for second shift, 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. The role requires successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test. The hourly base salary ranges from $18.00 to $19.00. Requirements
- At least 1 year of warehouse and/or office janitorial experience.
- Successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the GMP facility in accordance with established Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collect and dispose of facility waste and recyclables according to proper segregation and recycling procedures.
- Clean floors, breakrooms, restrooms, and outer production areas using approved cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and compliantly.
- Maintain stock levels of paper products in lunchrooms and restrooms.
- Report maintenance or safety issues to the Facilities Supervisor.
- Assist with other areas of facility maintenance.
- Assist with general upkeep of facility grounds and special cleaning projects as assigned.
