About The Position

As a Seasonal Holiday Team Lead (described in the posting as a Shift Lead), you’ll help create excellent experiences on Santa photo sets by supporting the team, welcoming families, assisting with photos, and keeping daily operations running smoothly. You’ll bring warmth, energy, and leadership to each shift while helping create a joyful holiday experience for guests.

The role includes opening and closing the assigned venue, reinforcing established policies and procedures, troubleshooting technical issues, helping train or recruit team members as needed, taking photos, providing guest service, and operating point-of-sale systems and photography equipment. You’ll also help maintain a safe, clean, and effective photo operation and complete other assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to process sales transactions and comfort with cash handling.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail, service-industry, or cashier experience is preferred but not required.
• Photography experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties at the assigned venue.
• Lead by example and reinforce policies and procedures established by the Operations Manager or Regional Manager.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate them to IT or local management when needed.
• Assist with training and/or recruiting as needed.
• Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs.
• Provide excellent guest service throughout the experience.
• Participate as a team member to ensure photo operations run smoothly and effectively.
• Engage in a friendly manner with guests, staff, and coworkers.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and photography equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.
