Seasonal Holiday Team Lead - Walden Galleria
About The Position
As a Seasonal Holiday Team Lead (described in the posting as a Shift Lead), you will support the team and daily operations at a Santa photo set, welcoming families, assisting with photos, and helping create a joyful guest experience. You will bring leadership, warmth, and energy to each shift and help ensure operations run smoothly. The role includes opening and closing the assigned venue, reinforcing company policies and procedures, troubleshooting technical issues, assisting with training or recruiting as needed, taking photos, providing guest service, operating point-of-sale and photography equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Photography experience is not required. The position requires flexibility to work during peak retail periods, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. It also involves lifting and carrying equipment up to 50 pounds and standing for prolonged periods. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Previous retail, service-industry, or cashier experience is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work during peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to process sales transactions and comfort with cash handling.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.

- Previous retail, service-industry, or cashier experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform opening and closing duties at the assigned venue.
- Lead by example and reinforce policies and procedures established by the Operations Manager or Regional Manager.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate them to IT or Local Management when needed.
- Assist with training and/or recruiting as needed.
- Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs.
- Provide excellent guest service throughout the experience.
- Participate as a team member to ensure photo operations run smoothly and effectively.
- Engage in a friendly manner with guests, staff, and coworkers.
- Operate the POS system and photography equipment.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
