About The Position

As a Seasonal Holiday Light Installer, you will assist with the installation, maintenance, and dismantling of holiday decorations. Tasks include wrapping trees with lights, setting up holiday displays, hanging banners, and assembling large structures while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The role involves traveling to job sites, working outdoors in varying temperatures, and may require overnight stays near job sites. Work may involve 10–14-hour days from September through December, as needed.

Ability to follow directions, including safety protocols.
Comfort working with hands and various tools.
Ability to climb ladders and use lifts with training.
Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed.
Ability to travel and stay overnight near job sites as needed.
Ability to work 10–14-hour days during September through December, as needed.
Knowledge of how to use various power tools.
Ability to work at heights.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
Ability to work in hot and cold weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Valid driver's license with a three-year clean driving record.
Previous experience in holiday light installation or a related field.
Bucket truck and box truck experience.

Responsibilities

Drive bucket and/or box trucks to various job sites.
Assemble and install large structures, including panel trees and decorations.
Assist with installing banners, pole-mounted decorations, and ground displays.
Set up holiday decorations such as wreaths, garland, and lighting displays.
Safely direct traffic around trucks when working on public roadways.
Troubleshoot and resolve power issues related to lighting.
Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure decorations are functional and safe, making necessary repairs.
Dismantle holiday decorations at the end of the season and ensure proper storage and organization for future use.
Follow safety commitments and company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
