About The Position

The Seasonal Holiday Associate works as a Catering Associate in the Prepared Foods department for approximately November through late December. The role supports department operations by preparing food, organizing and completing catering orders, maintaining a safe and clean work area, assisting with inventory and ordering, and providing friendly customer service. Permanent roles may be available after the season based on business needs and individual performance.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have experience providing excellent customer service.
• Enjoy cooking and preparing food.

• Be able to adapt to varying work environments, including freezers, refrigerators, and food preparation areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vegetables, salads, cold items, meat, and other catering selections.
• Pack and organize food for catering orders, ensuring each order is complete and ready on time.
• Deliver food and catering orders to designated pickup or service areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Keep preparation and work areas clean, neat, and organized.
• Monitor inventory and help place orders for supplies and ingredients.
• Support current merchandising and marketing strategies throughout the department.
• Engage customers and provide fast, friendly, helpful service.
• Collaborate with team members to keep the department running smoothly.
