About The Position

The Catering Associate supports the Prepared Foods department by preparing high-quality food, maintaining a safe and organized work area, supporting inventory and ordering, and providing fast, friendly customer service. This is a seasonal opportunity running approximately from November through late December. Permanent roles may be available after the season based on business needs and individual performance.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience providing excellent customer service.
• Enjoys cooking and preparing food.
• Takes pride in work, whether the task is big or small.
• Can adapt to varying work environments, including freezers, refrigerators, and food preparation areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vegetables, salads, cold items, meat, and other catering selections.
• Pack and organize food for catering orders, ensuring orders are complete and ready on time.
• Run food and catering orders to designated pickup or service areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Keep preparation and work areas clean, neat, and organized.
• Monitor inventory and help place orders for supplies and ingredients.
• Support current merchandising and marketing strategies throughout the department.
• Engage customers and provide fast, friendly, helpful service.
• Collaborate with team members to keep the department running smoothly.
