About The Position

The Catering Associate supports the Prepared Foods department during the holiday season. This seasonal opportunity runs approximately from November through late December. The associate prepares high-quality food, maintains a safe and organized work area, supports inventory and ordering, and provides fast, friendly service to customers. Permanent roles may be available after the season based on business needs and individual performance.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have experience providing excellent customer service.
• Enjoy cooking and preparing food.
• Take pride in work, whether the task is big or small.
• Be able to adapt to varying work environments, including freezers, refrigerators, and food preparation areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vegetables, salads, cold items, meat, and other catering selections.
• Pack and organize catering orders, ensuring each order is complete and ready on time.
• Run food and catering orders to designated pickup or service areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Keep preparation and work areas clean, neat, and organized.
• Monitor inventory and help place orders for supplies and ingredients.
• Support current merchandising and marketing strategies throughout the department.
• Engage customers and provide fast, friendly, helpful service.
• Collaborate with team members to keep the department running smoothly.
