About The Position

The purpose for this position is to assist in daily operational duties at the facility. This role involves assisting with operations at a retail supply location, following maintenance schedules for facility and equipment, and aiding in the inventory and distribution of products. The position also includes stocking and moving warehouse product, assisting operations personnel, and maintaining the facility, equipment, and company image. Additionally, the role contributes to improving efficiency and reducing costs, provides excellent customer service, and works with the location manager on safety and compliance issues. The job also requires adherence to GROWMARK's Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance Program, and Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies. It also involves demonstrating the FS Way Standards: Trust, Responsiveness, Excellence, Expertise, and Solution Focused. Other duties as assigned may include running local errands.

Requirements

Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Ability to work extended hours as business conditions warrant.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Must be willing to obtain and maintain a forklift certificate and a CDL.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

Assisting with operations at retail supply location.
Following maintenance schedule of facility and equipment.
Assisting with inventory and distribution of products.
Driving and delivering miscellaneous products as requested.
Stocking and moving warehouse product and material.
Assisting both full-time and part-time operations personnel.
Maintaining the facility, equipment, and company image.
Assisting in obtaining goals by improving efficiency and reducing costs.
Providing excellent customer service.
Working with location manager on all safety and compliance issues.
Following GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Demonstrating the FS Way Standards: Trust, Responsiveness, Excellence, Expertise and Solution Focused.
Driving and running local errands as needed.
Performing all other duties as assigned.
