About The Position
The purpose for this position is to assist in daily operational duties at the facility. This role involves assisting with operations at a retail supply location, following maintenance schedules for facility and equipment, and aiding with inventory and distribution of products. The position also includes stocking and moving warehouse product and material, assisting operations personnel, and maintaining the facility, equipment, and company image. Additionally, the role supports efforts to improve efficiency and reduce costs, provides excellent customer service, and collaborates with the location manager on safety and compliance issues.
Requirements
- Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof.
- Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
- Ability to work extended hours as business conditions warrant.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Must be willing to obtain and maintain a forklift certificate and a CDL.
- Occasionally exposed or required to: Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.), Noisy conditions, Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards, requiring utilization of appropriate safety measures, May be required to work at varying heights.
- Move up to 100 pounds.
- Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with operations at retail supply location.

- Driving and delivering miscellaneous products as requested.
- Stocking and moving warehouse product and material.
- Assisting both full-time and part-time operations personnel.
- Maintaining the facility, equipment, and company image.
- Assisting in obtaining goals by improving efficiency and reducing costs.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Working with location manager on all safety and compliance issues.
- Driving and running local errands as needed.
- Performing all other duties as assigned.
