About The Position

All Store Team Members help build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service, maximizing product inventory, and supporting online business operations to create a positive shopping experience. Team members may handle merchandising as well as sales, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. Internally, this position is referred to as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. The role may include fulfilling online orders and supporting in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned. If delivery is added as an essential job function, the associate must load and deliver orders safely and professionally in accordance with company policies and traffic and safety laws. This is a seasonal, short-term position lasting no longer than six months. Team members may apply for a non-seasonal role.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of experience.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and remain on one's feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience in a retail setting.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
Deliver exceptional, personalized customer service by greeting customers, building relationships, and informing them about products and services.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Follow applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally in accordance with company policies and traffic and safety laws.
