Daytime Seasonal Merchandise Associate
About The Position
The Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The role adheres to operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The associate supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; accurately processes purchases and returns; promotes credit and loyalty programs; and follows merchandising procedures. The role also includes preparing merchandise for the sales floor, participating in store recovery and cleanliness, supporting shrink reduction and safety programs, and following labor laws and company policies. Other duties may be assigned. Daytime availability is required from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The role is based at Sierra Store 0238 in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. Starting pay is $13.25 to $13.75 per hour, with actual pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers.
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to established procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and participate in maintaining the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
