Seasonal Event Valet
About The Position
LAZ Parking is hiring a Seasonal Event Valet Attendant to support concerts, sporting events, festivals, conventions, galas, and other special events. The attendant is often guests’ first and last point of contact and helps create a welcoming, efficient arrival and departure experience. The role involves providing customer service, safely parking and retrieving vehicles, managing valet tickets and keys, and maintaining organized vehicle flow. It is an active, fast-paced, team-oriented position with schedules that vary according to event calendars and business needs. Candidates should be available for evenings, weekends, holidays, event-heavy schedules, and extended shifts when needed. The position may involve outdoor work in varying weather, including winter conditions; warming areas, scheduled breaks, and procedures to limit unnecessary outdoor exposure are provided.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- At least 2 years of driving experience.
- Ability to operate automatic-transmission vehicles.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Previous valet, parking, hospitality, event, restaurant, or customer service experience.
- Experience driving manual-transmission vehicles.
- High school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests as they arrive and depart, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
- Open vehicle doors and assist guests as needed.
- Answer basic questions and provide directions.
- Deliver customer service in a high-volume environment and maintain a positive attitude during busy event periods.
- Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles.
- Issue and manage valet tickets and handle vehicle keys according to company procedures.
- Maintain organized traffic flow and staging areas.
- Locate vehicles quickly and accurately during guest departures.
- Follow company safety and operating procedures.
- Work with teammates to manage peak arrival and departure times.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and event staff.
- Maintain professionalism and represent LAZ Parking with integrity and enthusiasm.
