About The Position

KRE Security, LLC is hiring Event Security Officers for seasonal events throughout the Hershey, Harrisburg, and State College areas. Event schedules can vary, but we're looking for dependable people who want to pick up shifts while they're available. Some assignments may provide steady work throughout the season based on client needs and your availability. This is a great seasonal opportunity to make extra money for the holidays, add hours to your schedule, or simply enjoy working in an event environment. We provide the expectations and post orders for each assignment.

Requirements

• Able to work around crowds and busy environments
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and varying event schedules
• Calm and professional when things get busy
• Able to communicate clearly and work as part of a team
• Must meet all applicable employment requirements
• Must successfully complete required pre-employment screening and onboarding

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, customer service, hospitality, or event work is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional security presence
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas
• Assist with crowd management and pedestrian flow
• Check credentials, tickets, or access points when required
• Help enforce event policies and safety procedures
• Provide directions and professional assistance to guests
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity
• Report safety concerns, incidents, or policy violations
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
• Complete required activity or incident reports
• Follow instructions from KRE supervisors, clients, and event management
