About The Position

KRE Security, LLC is hiring Event Security Officers to support high school football games throughout Berks and Lehigh Counties. This seasonal role offers the opportunity to earn extra income while ensuring a safe and positive game-day experience. No prior security experience is required, as KRE Security will provide all necessary training. The position involves maintaining a professional security presence, monitoring areas, assisting with crowd management, enforcing policies, and responding to incidents.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
A clean criminal history and ability to successfully complete required clearances
Reliable transportation or ability to utilize available transportation options
Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Check (PSP/PATCH – Act 34)
Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance (ChildLine – Act 151)
FBI Fingerprint-Based Criminal History Check (Act 114)
All other applicable state-mandated training and certifications

Nice To Haves

Previous security, military, law enforcement, customer service, hospitality, or event experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Maintain a visible, professional security presence
Monitor entrances, exits, stands, and designated areas
Assist with crowd and pedestrian management
Help enforce school and event policies
Provide directions and assistance to visitors
Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity
Report safety concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel
Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
Complete required activity and incident reports
Follow post orders and instructions from KRE supervisors and school/event personnel
