About The Position

This is a seasonal position lasting approximately 60 days, starting on either October 26th or November 2nd. Associates will work an average of 15-25 hours per week, with the potential to work up to 40 hours per week. Various shifts are available, including daytime, evening, and weekend hours. Upon completion of the seasonal period, associates have the opportunity to apply for permanent positions within SCHEELS.

Requirements

High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
One to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of both
Ability to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Follow all safety procedures and perform job duties in a fashion that minimizes the risk of injury

Responsibilities

Collect and organize products to complete orders from assigned lists
Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping
Understand brands, shops, and internal inventory systems
Execute project work plans to complete tasks on time, and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Communicate with leadership and other team members to resolve problems or questions
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Ability to work independently and with a team
Effectively communicate with all associates
All other duties as assigned
