About The Position

This is a 60-day seasonal position with a start date of either 10/26 or 11/2. Associates may have the opportunity to apply for a permanent position with SCHEELS after the seasonal period concludes. The role involves collecting and organizing products to complete orders, packing, sealing, labeling, and preparing materials for shipping. It requires understanding inventory systems, executing project work plans, communicating with leadership and team members, and maintaining an organized work area. The position emphasizes a team-first mentality, adaptability, pride in work, and honesty and integrity, aligning with SCHEELS' company goals to be the best retailer in the USA.

Requirements

Minimum of a High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
One to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of both
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Follow all safety procedures and perform job duties in a fashion that minimizes the risk of injury

Responsibilities

Collect and organize products to complete orders from assigned lists
Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping
Understand brands, shops, and internal inventory systems
Execute project work plans to complete the task on time, and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Communicate with leadership and other team members to resolve problems or questions
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Ability to work independently and with a team
Effectively communicate with all associates
All other duties as assigned
